File system

  • So that we can provide the service at scale and keep prices as low as we can, we use a read-only file system. The downside of this is that plugins and upgrades are locked down. Read below about templates.

Templates

  • Astra is the default template and some customisations are implemented as a child theme
  • On request we can setup your own custom theme, but this must be enabled.

Cron

  • A user called ‘admin’ must exist for cron jobs to run. We recommend leaving the main admin user as the ‘admin’ username and using a different account for your usual work. Feel free to change the email address attached to this username (by default a CIB user may get access to this account to set it up, but you can change the login details/reset the password but NOT disable the account).
