Setup Google Analytics
SPEAKER_00 (00:01 – 00:24): Ok, quick run through on how to set up Google Analytics. So, we’ve got Google Analytics here, we’re looking for the data stream, we need to grab the… where is it again? View tag instructions here.
SPEAKER_00 (00:28 – 01:08): It might say that you need to use this plugin, but it’s not strictly necessary. We can use this manual one instead. So we’re going to copy that. Okay. And then back over to the campaign box. We want to turn on the CodeLike plugin. Activate that. And then go to the CodeSnippets setting from it. Add a new custom one. Paste that snippet in.
SPEAKER_00 (01:13 – 01:37): We’re going to put it as a header, which is the default. That’s it. If you were to look at the page source for this, you’ll see down here it’s added it into it.
SPEAKER_00 (01:40 – 01:55): Let’s try that again. See, it’s right there, just below the header. And if you go back into Google Analytics and click Test, then it should work.
